Client-privileged, handled that way

Confidentiality isn't a feature — it's the baseline.

Legal work is privileged by default. Jurinexus is designed around that assumption from the data model up, not added as a compliance checkbox afterward.

How data is protected

Four commitments that shape every design decision

These aren't marketing claims layered on top of the product — they constrain how features get built in the first place.

Encryption at rest & in transit

Industry-standard encryption protects documents and case data end to end, whether stored or in motion between services.

Role-based access

Every user — associate, partner, client, or admin — sees only the matters and documents they're explicitly assigned to.

No training on your data

Client matters, drafts, and documents are never used to train shared AI models. What happens in your matters stays in your matters.

DPDP-aligned

Data handling is built to align with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, covering consent, storage, and retention.

Who can see what, by design

Access in Jurinexus is scoped at the matter level, not the account level. A client sees only their own matter. An associate sees the matters they're assigned to. A partner can see across the firm. Nothing is visible by default beyond what a role actually needs.

  • Matter-level permissions, not blanket account access
  • Separate scopes for clients, associates, partners, and admins
  • Full activity log of who viewed or edited what, and when

Frequently asked

Common questions on data handling

Where is client data stored?

Client and matter data is encrypted at rest and in transit, hosted on infrastructure built to align with India's data protection requirements. Specific hosting details are shared during onboarding and in your data processing agreement.

Can Jurinexus staff read our documents?

Access is role-based and logged. Support access to client data, where ever required for troubleshooting, follows a documented access process rather than open-ended visibility.

What happens to our data if we stop using Jurinexus?

Data export and deletion terms are set out in your services agreement, consistent with DPDP-aligned retention and deletion practices.
